Pre-weekend

I'm being Banished to my grandparents this weekend, 45minutes from home, out of the city.

Why? well I have a pound of homework sitting in my locker I have to hand in next week, and I know that if I don't go, it will continue to sit there. So my parents have forced me to go there for the weekend. It's not to bad out there, but you wouldn't catch me saying that when I was a kid, oh the weekends I endured there as I was growing up, I hated that place. The only thing that I liked about it was my grandma and grandpa... which is why I always agreed to go. Now I think that's one of things I like the least about that place, as bad as that sounds....I'm not a fan of the old aged, minus one exception.

I watched the movie I ordered, XXY and well it wasn't what I expected, but so much better. It evoked so many emotions. This is one of those films that as you watch it you feel for the characters, you can sense what's going on in their mind with their facial expressions. It's very touching and the ending isn't what you would expect,but as I said it was so much better. A very good message and this being the director Lucía Puenzo's first movie it's really quite amazing.
You should watch if you ever get a chance.
